Tuna and tomato pasta


-4 cloves of garlic, diced
-olive oil
-2 cans of chopped tomatoes
-handful of fresh chopped flat-leaf parsley
-1 can tuna (in oil)
-handful of fresh basil (chopped)
-salt & pepper
-pasta (penne or farfalle, etc.)

Sauté the garlic in the olive oil. Add the canned tomatoes and the chopped parsley, then simmer on the stove for 15-20 minutes. Season to taste. (While the tomatoes are simmering, boil the water for the pasta and cook the pasta for specified time.)

At the very last minute, after the pasta is cooked and drained, add the tuna and chopped basil to the simmering tomatoes. Toss everything into a large bowl and serve.

Carlo's Lite Banana Bread

Carlo's LITE Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups flour (I only use whole-wheat flour but my wife says it tastes so "healthy"! You can mix with white flour or use white flour alone, depending on what you prefer.)

1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup apple sauce (I make my own in the restaurant; but when at home, I just use the ones bought in the supermarket.)

3 pieces very ripe bananas (The more ripe the bananas, the sweeter your bread will be.)

2 eggs

2 tablespoons low-fat yoghurt

4 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


PROCEDURE:

1. Pre-heat your oven to 175°C (350°F). If you have a convection oven, preheat to 150°C (300°F) only.

2. Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl.

3. In another bowl, mash bananas with a fork. I like mine chunky, so I don't mash too much. Mix together applesauce, bananas, eggs, honey, vanilla extract and yoghurt.

4. Incorporate the two bowls together (dry ingredients with the wet ingredients). Mix just enough to bring the batter together. Do not overmix.

5. Place in a silicone-paper lined loaf tin and bake in the middle of your oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a knife comes out of the middle of the bread completely clean.

6. Remove the tin from the oven and allow to cool slightly before removing the bread from the tin and placing on a cooling rack to cool fully.

7. ENJOY!

Chili Crab


My mother has been bringing these Chili Crab recipe to me for as long as I can remember. One of my mom's recipes, my favourite dish :)
Last few years, me and my family love fishing, and we don’t get home until we caught something. And by suprise my lil brother caught a very big crab, so i decided to spice a little for dinner and guess what, I did it.. I ❤ u mom (≧◡≦)

Chocolate Cake


Make time to bake a cake, Who doesn't love chocolate? I'm not the Master Cake Decorator, need more skillful hands could have made this cake prettier. But I made my own happiness with this cake, and it would have taken a good deal to improve on that. I discovered this Chocolate Cake in Jamie Oliver Desserts book. The cake is made of a short list of simple ingredients.

After I made one, I eagerly waited till I have the mood to make another :)

Cara-cara membuat

Mula-mula panaskan air di tambak, jika hampir mendidih masukkan mee ( indomie ) kedalam.

Sambil menunggu mee menjadi lembut, bubuh perencah keatas pinggan dan jika perlu tambah kicap ABC sedikit

Bila mee sudah menjadi lembut, tapis mee tersebut kedalam alat penapis dan masukkan keatas pinggan yang telah dibubuh perencah. Gaul hingga sebati dan enjoyyyyyy... Ahahaha

Double Chocolate Chips Cookie

Sayur Curry

Sayur Curry ONE of my husband's favourite dish :)

Chocolate Chips

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups packed light-brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped, or 1 twelve-ounce bag semisweet chocolate chips

Chocolate Brownie Cheese Cake with Cheese cake Ice Cream.

Brownie Recipe :

. 1/2 cup butter
. 4 square semi sweet chocolate
. 2 eggs
. 1 cup brown sugar
. 3/4 cup flour
. 1/4 tsp baking soda
. 1/4 tsp salt

Any ice cream Flavours


Chocolate Tiramisu



Ingredients

  • 2 3-ounce packages ladyfingers, split
  • 1/4 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 8-ounce carton mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup chocolate
  • 1 ounce white chocolate baking squares or white baking bars, grated
  • 1 ounce bittersweet chocolate, grated
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder

1. Line the bottom of an 8x8x2-inch baking pan with some of the ladyfingers, cutting to fit as necessary. Drizzle half of the espresso over ladyfingers;set aside.

2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the mascarpone cheese, whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla with an electric mixer just until stiff peaks form. Beat in the chocolate until just combined. Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over ladyfingers, spreading evenly. Sprinkle white chocolate and bittersweet chocolate over the mascarpone mixture. Top with another layer of ladyfingers (reserve any remaining ladyfingers for another use). Layer with remaining espresso and mascarpone cheese mixture.

3. Cover and chill for 6 to 24 hours. Sift cocoa powder over top of dessert. If desired, garnish with cocoa beans.

Beef Lasagna



Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 medium sweet white onion, diced
  • 1/2 large green bell pepper, seeds and veins removed, diced
  • 1/2 lb dry lasagna noodles (requires 9 lasagna noodles - unbroken)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 28 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 28 oz can (16 oz) stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 6 oz can (3 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 lb Ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 lb Mozzarella cheese (large flat square slices)
  • 3/4 lb freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Garlic Powder
  • Oregano
  • Italian Spice
  • Salt
  • Garlic Salt
  • Parsley diced (fresh flat leaf preferred)
  • 1 Garlic Cloves, minced
